Human Trafficking Housing Assistance Program

In 2021, Dragonfly pioneered Oklahoma’s first Housing Assistance Program for Human Trafficking Victim-Survivors in partnership with Upward Transitions and the City of Oklahoma City! This innovative program provides trafficking victim-survivors with independent housing and specialized, wraparound services tailored for those who experienced trafficking.

Individual Housing for Human Trafficking Victim-Survivors

The Housing Assistance Program uses the “scattered housing” model—individual houses or apartments located throughout the city—where trafficking victim-survivors and their family can live (this model is different from Dragonfly’s Human Trafficking Transition Home). This program can supply funding for housing deposits, as well as rental and utility assistance.

Dragonfly Services for Participants

All participants have access to Dragonfly’s services offered through our Human Trafficking Crisis Center, which are geared specifically toward the needs of human trafficking victim-survivors!

Housing Assistance Program participants will work with a Housing Navigator through Upward Transitions and a Case Manager from Dragonfly to work on their housing needs in a trauma-informed, client-centered approach.

To inquire about the application and interview process to participate in the Housing Assistance Program, call Dragonfly’s 24-Hour Human Trafficking Helpline at 405.212.3377.
